What Rolando does on Fix My Home Right

Rolando chooses topics from the questions homeowners ask about repairs, maintenance and upgrades, reviews each guide against its sources, and approves what is published. Guides list Esmeralda and Rolando as the people responsible for them.

How we check facts

Every guide follows our Editorial Standards: official sources, dated checks, state rules labeled by state, and no invented numbers or testimonials. We don’t present ourselves as licensed contractors, inspectors or arborists.

Education only: general information, not professional advice for your home. Building codes, permits and contractor licensing vary by state, county and city, and electrical, gas, roof, structural and tree work can be dangerous, so check the official source we link or hire a licensed professional before you act. We may earn money from ads and, in the future, paid links; our advice isn’t for sale.
